Hello and good Wednesday evening to everyone.  This is Mr. Freeman emailing from Grant School and I have someone from Student Council with a very important announcement…

Hello, this is Claire Lewis from Student Council and Student Council wants you to help out One Safe Place.  We are asking for donated frozen hams and turkeys, new unwrapped toys, packaged teas, coffees, and hot chocolate.  We are also accepting non-perishable foods and baking decorating kits.  You can donate these items outside of the library doors and in the Main Office until November 15th.  These donations will go to One Safe Place, a place where people can go to get help and escape abusive relationships.  Thank you.

Thanks Claire.  I want to thank our Student Council for partnering with One Safe Place to help them out.  Also on the horizon are auditions for Shrek Jr. tomorrow from 2:15 to 5:00 and callbacks on Thursday from 3:00-5:00.  Sign ups are on the door to the Music Room.  And don’t forget about the Daddy/Daughter Dance coming up on Thursday night from 6:30-9:00 in the MUR.  Tickets are $20/couple and proceeds go to benefit our Sports Boosters program.  If you would like to help decorate for the event, there will be a decorating team getting started at around 1:30.
