A message from GRANT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT

Hello and happy Wednesday everyone.  This is Mr. Freeman calling from Grant Elementary School and I have a few important announcements for you at the half-way point of the week.  First of all, I want to turn it over to a couple of our Student Council members…

Hi, this is Grace Sutter and I am the Student Council Vice President.

And I am Claire Lewis and I am one of the 7th grade Senators.

And we would like to say that thanks to our Sports Boosters, all of the proceeds from Thursday’s snack bar at the Cougar Classic Soccer Tournament will be going to Curtis Elementary School in Beaumont Texas.

Don’t worry, if you are not able to stay and watch the tournament you can still swing by and make your donation.  You don’t even have to buy anything.

If you do buy something there will be a tip jar for Curtis Elementary School so you can donate that way. Just drop by and help us make a difference for Curtis Elementary School.

We’ll see you at the tournament.

Great cause, come on out.  The Cougar Classic will be Thursday and Friday.  I want to especially thank our Sports Boosters for making this happen.  There will be a Sports Boosters Meeting on Friday if you want to join in the fun and help out.  Also happening this week, we have our PTO Meeting tomorrow in the Grigsby Library at 3:00.  While I have you on the phone, I want to remind you that next week is our Parent Conference Week so we will be on a Minimum Day schedule all week.  Okay, that’s it for me.  Thanks to Student Council.  Let’s rally together to see what we can do to help out those students impacted by Hurricane Harvey.  Let’s expect the best and GO COUGARS!
