Home Activities

Home activities are activities you can do with your child at home to reinforce what is being taught at school. Each month, there will be a list of themes, numbers, letters, etc., that the class is working on. There will be a list of activities for you to do with your child.

Review numbers 1 through 5.
Review letters T through Z.

Activities

  • Talk about the letters, especially the ones in your child’s name.
  • We will be talking about stop signs and traffic lights and about what the colors mean. As you see them, try to point them out to your child.
  • Most kids love to cut with scissors. We try to stress that we just cut paper and sometimes playdough. We’ve done some cutting in class. We prefer to do it one-on-one so we can watch and help them.
