Coming out of this morning’s Music Boosters meeting, I am excited to let people know that Music Boosters will be having a See’s Candies fundraiser just in time for Valentine’s Day!  That’s right, See’s Candies will be available for order and a percentage of the proceeds go to support our Grant School Music Boosters group.  Our Music Boosters do so much for our band and choir students and this is a tasty way for us to support them and show our love through chocolate.  And nothing says love like chocolate!!!  Order forms will be going home to students this Friday but we wanted to get them out sooner so I have attached a cover letter and an order form for you to check out.  Just pass it around at the next family dinner and the smart people in your family will realize what a no-brainer See’s Candies are for Valentine’s gifts and they will fill it out.  Bring your completed order form and money to the Main Office by January 23rd and we will take care of the rest.  Music Boosters wants to thank you ahead of time for your continued support.

While I have you on the line, I wanted to let you in on something cool that we have coming up for our students next week.  On Friday, January 19th we will be hosting the Matsiko World Orphan Choir.  This group, sponsored by the International Children’s Network, is a collection of international youth and they will be performing for us at 1:15in the Watson Gym.  I am excited to welcome this exceptional and inspirational group of young people to Grant School.  If you would like to learn more about the Matsiko World Orphan Choir you can visit their web site at www.matsikochoir.com.
